In Timika, Papuan families and neighbouring tribal communities are tending a shared orange garden — learning, harvesting, and working the land together. The garden is theirs: a place of livelihood, friendship, and dignity before it is anything else.
Papuan families in Timika are growing Pontianak mandarin with their own hands. Elders, growers, and young people from different tribal communities gather in the garden to share knowledge of cultivation, crop care, and harvest. The work belongs to local people. It is a way to stay on the land, feed households, and meet one another in peace. PT. KPN walks beside this work as a supporter — not as owner — so Papuan families can keep the skills, the harvest, and the future.
